This will be my 4th year teaching at River Woods as the fourth-grade dual-language teacher. I graduated from Aurora University with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I’m excited to start the new school year. I love teaching in two languages! I enjoy playing soccer, traveling, hiking, photography, and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to my fourth year at River Woods!

Mr. Carius
I was born right here in Naperville and attended District 204 schools growing up. I graduated from the University of Kentucky and I am a die-hard Wildcats fan! This is my 10th year teaching here at River Woods and my 14th year teaching overall. I enjoy helping kids find a love for learning and challenging them to be the best versions of themselves. When I am not teaching I enjoy reading, running, participating in sports, watching movies and spending time with my wife and three children!

My name is Rob Sabo. I have spent 12 years at River Woods and have taught for 18. Before becoming a teacher I attended Illinois State University, where I received a BFA in Drawing and Graphic Design. I worked as a Designer for 3 years and decided to go back to school to become a teacher. DePaul University is where I received my Masters of Education. After receiving my degree I taught and lived in Chicago for 6 years. I now live in Naperville with my wife Christina and 3 children. I love to garden, bike, and draw.

I am happy to be starting my 14th year as a 4th-grade teacher at River Woods! I grew up in D203 (Prairie, Washington, NNHS) and raised my boys here (Elmwood, Lincoln, NCHS), as well. I have deep roots in Naperville and feel fortunate to have so many family members here. My older son, with his wife and 1-year-old daughter, live only a few blocks away, but I am about to send my younger son to finish his last year at Montana State University in Bozeman (Ugh- so far away!). A highlight of my summer was being with my precious granddaughter, followed by many adventures out west with my husband. We returned to a few beloved National Parks as well as visiting new places.
