• What is Reading Rangers? 

    Reading Rangers is a club for students in 4th and 5th grade who enjoy reading and discussing a wide variety of books.  The books come from the District 203 Battle of the Books list that students all across our district will be reading this year.

              The main focus of the Reading Rangers is student independent reading of the 40 books in the Battle of the Books List 23-24.  Meetings will consist of activities and discussions that involve these books.  Ranch View School, the Naperville Libraries, and Anderson’s Bookstore are all places where these books can be checked out or purchased.

               For those students who are interested in the Battle of the Books Competition, they may try to read all of the books on the list.  This fun and challenging event is held in late April where District #203 elementary teams of four students are matched to answer questions about the books.
