Guidelines for Entering and Leaving Elmwood School

  • During the 2021-22 School Year visitors will not be allowed in the buildings
    For the safety of all students and staff, parents, guardians, and visitors to Elmwood are asked to go to the main entrance. Upon ringing the main door push the intercom call button and our office staff will request the reason for your visit and perhaps your student(s) grade and teacher.  Please wear your mask while on school property and follow social distancing guidelines while at front entrance.
     
    We will ask you to wait near the front entrance for assistance and staff will come to the front door.   If you are picking up classroom materials, we will bring them out to you.  Should you have any questions, please contact the front office.

    Non-Covid 19 Information is below:
    For the safety of all students and staff, parents, guardians, and visitors to Elmwood are asked to enter only at the main entrance.  At check-in, our office staff will request a state issued ID which will be scanned.  The software used by scanners has the ability to provide alerts on people who may jeopardize the safety of the campus.  This system is used to enhance student safety.  Parents/guardians are considered visitors and you will be asked to provide your valid state issued ID when checking in at the school. Any visitor to the building without a valid ID will be asked to retrieve the appropriate identification before entering.

    If you do visit Elmwood during the school day, please exit through the main entrance and check-out with our office staff.
