Your child will have Library once a week for 25 minutes. During Library time your child will engage in a variety of literacy activities.  Your child will also have time to read books and share their favorite stories with classmates and teachers.   Each week your child will be allowed to check out one book to take home with them for the week. 

It is recommended that you have a specific place in your house that you keep your library book. Part of our goal is to teach students how to be responsible in caring for books they take home.  We ask that you help them get their library book back into their school bag and back to school the day before they return to the library.
