    Bullying Awareness Week

Did you know that October is National Bullying Prevention Month? Starting on October 21st, Positivity Club will be hosting Bullying Awareness Week to promote inclusivity, unity, and a sense of belonging at Jefferson. Join us all week for activities and spirit days to show how we can all be upstanders against bullying!

    Diversity and Inclusion Club

    New club alert!!

Do you believe every student has a story worth hearing? Do you want to help make our school a place where everyone feels seen, accepted, and valued? Then come join the Diversity & Inclusion Club — open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders!

    What we’ll do:

    • Read and discuss books, stories, and media that highlight diverse voices

    • Share experiences, identities, and perspectives in a safe space

    • Plan school-wide events, campaigns, and projects to promote inclusion

    • Be part of a team that helps shape the culture of our school

    Why join?

    • Grow your understanding, empathy, and leadership

    • Meet and collaborate with students across grades

    • Make a visible, positive impact on our school community

    When & Where:

Meetings will be held once a month, one morning and one after school. Our first meeting will be on 10/16 before school 7:15- 7:45 in Room 109 and on 10/20 after school 2:50- 3:30.

All are welcome — whether you come to share, learn, or support. Bring your curiosity, your voice, and an open heart. Let’s build a school where everyone belongs.

If you have questions, contact Mrs. Hartman or Ms. White. We hope to see you there!
