Student Council helps at Prairie School, in the Community and the World.
Fourth and fifth grade students participating in student council are elected by their classes. Council members serve as role models at Prairie by teaching younger students and their peers how to be community contributors.
Some of the projects we have been involved in include:
- Collecting money for wells to be built in Africa
- Halloween Candy for Hessed House
- Making a banner and writing letters to Veterans stationed around the world
- Collecting pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House
- We have collected and sorted supplies to be donated to needy schools
