  • Ms. Casey had the opportunity to walk through the addition this Friday, and it is truly amazing to see the progress made in just 2 weeks. The new roof is being installed this week, and we will begin masonry walls THIS WEEK! This is exciting stuff! The team will begin drywalling on 4/28.

March 17: We are making incredible progress on our addition, as you can see from the drone flight and photos. All the steel supports have been installed, and we are now working on installing the side supports and roof. The next step will include pouring the slab and finishing up the exterior walls. We are still on track to be ready by the first day of school, 25-26!

  • Feb 28: This past week we finished the bearing CMU masonry walls. Just this week, we successfully started Structural steel for the addition. The steel sequence will last from 2/26 and end on 3/15. After the steel sequence, we will then start framing the exterior stud walls.  We will be doing something exciting on Monday. Pepper Construction has offered to paint one of these long beams and allow our students and staff to sign the beam with a Sharpie. We'll take lots of pictures! Check out some cool pix from the past. It is really shaping quickly.

  • Feb. 3: We are making steady progress with our construction project. As you can see from the photos, we have the footings poured and the steel rebar is being installed for the foundation. This week the Ranch View community will see more truck traffic due to our major work for the week of February 3rd- Stone backfill. Coming in the next few weeks will be the masontry bearing and fire wall and exterior wall framing.  We will also be having Construction Assemblies with our students on Tuesday, February 4th. This is an opportunity for our students to learn more about the project from our team of architects from Healy Bender and our project management team from Pepper Construction. We are looking forward to hearing from the groups that helped create the vision and the people making that vision come to life.
